Youth Elect Service
Youth Elect Service (Y.E.S.) is a faith based service project for the high school youth of St. John and St. Mary Catholic Parishes. Fr. Eric once said, “The Y.E.S. project helps remind our youth that we are called to go out and share our faith in the community by making a gift of ourselves to those who are in need.” This weekend experience includes: attending Mass, receiving the sacrament of Reconciliation, traveling to area worksites, sharing their faith with other young Catholics, having fun, camping out, and putting their faith into action throughout our community.
At the worksites, the high school students complete various projects. In the past years, these projects have included: painting inside and outside, landscape work, various clean up jobs, built a carport and wheelchair ramp, tarring driveways, and even so much more.
