All are welcome to join us for mass, even if you are not Catholic or have not practiced your faith in some time. If you are not Catholic or not prepared to participate in the Holy Eucharist you may still join us in prayer as it is appropriate to be fully prepared prior to receiving the Holy Eucharist.

HCCS News
Holy Cross Catholic School in Defiance, Ohio, is seeking a mission-driven School Principal-Minister to serve as the spiritual, educational, administrative, and fiscal leader of our school community. This is an opportunity to shape young minds, support dedicated teachers, and strengthen the Catholic identity of a vibrant pre-K through 6th grade school.
The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic in full communion with the Church, hold a master’s degree in education or a related field, have valid Ohio licensure, and bring Catholic school teaching and leadership experience, along with a passion for academic excellence and faith formation. Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential.
Key responsibilities include leading instructional programs, supporting and evaluating staff, overseeing school operations and safety, managing budgets, and working closely with the pastor to promote religious education and Catholic values.
